Tribute to Villa-Lobos at the New England Conservatory

The March 1st concert at the New England Conservatory includes a number of interesting items. First of all, for those of you in the Boston area who missed the two performances last week of the 2nd Cello Concerto by Andres Diaz and the Symphony Pro Musica, you'll have another chance on the first, at Jordan Hall. As well, there are lots of other works to be heard, among them Choros #01, Bachianas #5, and, according to the NEC press release, "several choral pieces that [NEC Preparatory School pianist Tatyana] Dudochkin found in the Villa-Lobos Museum that have never been published."
