The publication of a new Villa-Lobos score is an exciting event. O Martírio dos Insetos, written in 1925 for violin and orchestra, has been edited and adapted by violin & piano by Ricardo Averbach.This is a piece I've never heard. There is a 2006 Brazilian CD Impressões Brasileiras, by violinist Daniel Guedes and pianist Flavio Augusto, with the violin & piano version.
