Joanna Brzezinska-Maurer plays Villa-Lobos

Pianist Joanna Brzezinska-Maurer's 2007 CD of Villa-Lobos piano music has been well-reviewed, and it's a disc I've enjoyed myself. It's nice to see that she's planning the release of a new CD this fall:
28-31 octobre, Lausanne Château Fallot
Enregistrement: CD -Villa-Lobos no.2
IV Bachianas Brasileiras, As Tres Marias, Trois Danses Africaines, Ciclo Brasileiro, Rudepoema
This well-filled disc hits some of the real high points of Villa's extraordinarily well-recorded piano music. I'm looking forward to it.

If you're going to be in Geneva earlier in October, you can hear all of this music live.

Piano Music by Joanna Brzezińska-Mauer

Joanna Brzezińska-Mauer's 2007 Villa-Lobos piano disc on Claves in Switzerland has been well-reviewed. You can hear a track - Branquina - in RealAudio at the Arte.tv site.

The disc includes both the first and second suites from A Prole do Bebê (The Baby’s Family), along with Suite Floral, Op. 97, and the composer's version for piano of Choros #1.

Brzezińska-Mauer's website is really excellent. You can listen to full tracks and excerpts from the Villa-Lobos disc, along with a concert video of Le petit boeuf de plombe.

You can buy Brzezińska-Mauer's Villa-Lobos: Piano Music at Amazon.com.
